We saw in TB interview that PS2 currently has very simple head selection character creation implemented. I know that this isn't essential feature for a game like PS2 however I have gotten used to most games having a decent character creation (it's almost a standard feature nowadays). Since even games like EVE online and Black Prophecy in which no-one ever gets to see your face in-game have awesome char creation I don't see why PS2 wouldn't have one.
Also with only 5 selectable heads and the presumption that there will be open helmets that show face with hundreds of players it will get boringly repetitive. On the other hand if you implement even a very simple char creation with 3 skin tone types, 3 types of head shape, 3 hair colors, 3 eyes colors, 3 noses and 3 mouth types available for selection you will already have 729 possible variations. Please cast your vote. |

I get that you never really see your face; but I would like to see some different hairstyles/facial hair ect, it is an MMO after all and therefore a deal of attachment to your character is usually inferred.
perhaps as purchasable content. |

Actually I wasn't referring to feats such as hairdos and facial hair styles - they should definitely be a part of cash shop if available. I was talking about basic facial feature (available for all players in creation screen) that make faces distinguishable from one another. Even with only few types of each feat (nose, mouth, eyes type...) available you can get considerable variety. If there will be open helmets (without gas mask and goggles) or berets and other hats I would definitely like to see more variety than 5 preset head types in the game.

I don't care at all. I'll want a helmet on all the time anyways. It's so minor and having lots of hairdos isn't very military.
Having basic face feature sliders and adjustment really isn't important to me at all I just want to play the game |

Wearing pink isn't very military either. Just kiddin, zillion of hairdos isn't the point however having some basic customization of how your char looks like is a minimal standard nowadays. Yes I agree it isn't that much important but I'd welcome it and it isn't at all that hard to make or time consuming. Also seeing a nice char creation in game always creates a good first impression for me.
