Official server side outfit support

Although Planetside 2 encourages players to form outfits and guilds. I noticed that there is no official system to keep track of the number of guilds in game at a time. I suggest a server supported database for guild registry. This would allow guilds to post a page for information, and a link to any website they may have, and allow new player to search for them directly, as well as allow outfits to pool their cash to make it available to an outfit leader to distribute and spend on vehicles or possible outfit specific camos.

Basically, you have a good idea. This isn't so much a situation of the pot calling the kettle black, but more like the pot saying "Hey I've got an idea, why don't we paint the kettle black!" The response, to which, of course, would be: "It's already black..."


Edit: Thought I would further clarify that I'm not tryin to be a dick .

This is something we haven't seen YET, but it was basically in PS1, there were no issues with it, it's going to be in PS2.


Also, they haven't been very clear about this in some cases: Outfits ARE guilds; and try to refrain from using the word "guild." This isn't WoW.
