Love it. I hope this means they reconsider Artillery down the line.

Having more options is always a good thing.

Hopefully this will be another effective tool against entrenched enemies.

I think the GG should be a bomber instead.

Those were the 'not actual bombs, bombs.' This is actual bombing like we saw in Planetside 1, if I had to guess. Certainly exciting news!

What's going to happen when people just spam the smallish control points buildings with cluster bombs from out of aa range, or the super open bases?Need sam.

This is why air-superiority and/or air cover is so important. If you're getting lib spammed at a tower (typical in PS1) all it takes is a mossi or two to bring it down real quick. Also, I didn't see any range limitations on the HA lock-on rockets, so again seems like a bit of a non-issue.

Overall, very happy that libs will still be bombers. +1 <3

Even though alot of people didnt like the driver on tanks getting the main gun. Im hoping something similar happens for libs with bombing.

Im hoping there are 2 options.

Gunship Lib, Pilot, Main Gunner, Tail Gunner

Bomber Lib. Pilot (who loses main cannon but now has access to dropping bombs, Main gunner spot is removed in place of bomb bay, tail gunner.

I remember in PS1, even during heavy play times, sometimes I just could not get a full crew from my liberator that would stick around for more than 1 pass. So having the options to go bomber route when your 1 guy short and let the pilot have the option to do some decent damage seems nice to me.

honestly i think the middle seat should be the bomber. Pilot needs to focus on flying. tail gunner needs to watch the 6. the bomber needs to be able to focus for precision strikes.

I believe there will be a limit on ground AA range. I hope. Air superiority is important, if a lib is bombing your base, get in a damn aircraft and kill it.

*BEEP BEEP BEEP* when you are ANYWHERE near a base can get really annoying. :P Here's hoping that AA missiles won't be the finger of god again.
