Hey everyone. I played PS1 alot back in the day and imo there hasnt been a game since that has captured what PS1 had. I'm so happy that PS2 is just around the corner.
I figured I would have some fun and load up PS1 again only to have problems with the launcher. Looking through the SOE support forums brought back horrible memories of scouring the SOE forums years ago and I see they are just as user unfriendly as they were back then (granted, a user experience is his/her own. Some may not have any problem finding the correct information), and this worries me. I LOVED playing PS1! I could think of nothing better to do than spend an entire weekend playing it with breaks for food and some sleep. Even so, I quit playing due to the level of frustration generated by trying to find solutions for technical issues. So... I would like to make a suggestion. Since the PlanetsideUniverse community has become such a big part of PS2 could PSU have its own PS2 tech support forum (of course it will why would I suggest this?), that keeps in mind that SOE tech support forums actually have the ability to push people away from PS2. The support forum on PSU will have to be better than what is found at SOE and be geared to all players not just the registered users here. This could amount to asking alot but I think some entity needs to do this, I dont think this can be left to SOE to handle properly. |

There IS a tech support forum... it's at the bottom of the main forum list.
So what's the problem?

"There IS a tech support forum... it's at the bottom of the main forum list.
So what's the problem?" If read my post you will see that imo PSU has to become a better source for tech support than SOE. PSU is the place to go for the PS community so I think it must also become the place to go for tech support. I'm not going to restate the whole post just because you didnt read the first. |
