Anyone else having issues getting onto the SOE site..?

I checked that "is it down for everyone" site and it seemed to think it was down too. I'm trying to sub to planetside 1 after not playing it for 4 or 5 years. Really excited to play again but the site is making it very difficult. Do you know if you can pay with paypal?

They gave everyone 30 free days recently, you should be able to log in and play anyway
Just download the launchpad, log in and you should be all set

Does this count even if I was never a subscriber? I played during the "planetside reserves" era.

Reserve members do not have the free 30 days.

Well that's strange, because I was never a subscriber but sure enough I was able to log in and participate in the battle in Esamir earlier today. Just as fun as I remember!!
