ANT (Ecenomic Support/ Emergency Power)

With the whole resource gathering thing I was thinking of way to bring back the ANT but instead of just being a resource farm abey som other roles one that a sundy cannot replace. See I see the sundy as a logistical support vehicle being a mobile spawn point or repair station.

ANT used for teritorial control, mabey to get control of a resource use a "harvest" type capture system, take an ANT to a so called resource rich patch, deploy it, then take it back to your outpost to gain tic marks on the teritory.

ANT as an emergency generator, probbibly a good idea to cert but why not replace those resource pannels with solar pannels, say something is powered down Well you got those solar powered panels, deploy them and you will have unlimited power (atleast in the day time, woot night cycle strategy thinking here)

Empire specific ANTs, sur we can all have the common pool but what about empire variants,
TR get a Gunner seat on top, They always carry the most guns and why should precious resource be vunerible
VS get the amphibious floating ANT, why go to barbaric propulsion when the gifts of the vanu are so plentiful.
NC get a Resource Siphon, What is better than getting more resources from the enemy, why steal it from the enemy, and using the enemy's plentiful resources to your own good has always been the best insurgent tactic.
