Smed spilled the beans on this game to begin with. Smed told us beta was gonna begin last March. Smed keeps on waxing enthusiastic and making all these offhand promises that the dev team can't keep. Smed needs to shut his big fat yap and you guys need to *chill*.

There's still project goals, and they're bunkering down to meet them. If they don't meet them, it's not the end of the world, and they'll re-estimate a more realistic goal. Software projects do try to keep to timetables and milestones or they'll never get done thanks to feature creep. But no one should feel they're certain Beta is coming out tomorrow or Monday. Especially since things have been this quiet.

Also, I'd uh *chill* yourself. You seem a little tense.

Please tell that to my project manager, I don't think she'd listen though. In principle this is true, in fact 99% of the time it's not. Push out what you have at the deadline, you can patch in the rest later. Yep...

I see a lot of testicle betting that beta won't be tomorrow (Friday). Though I don't recommend putting your testicles on the line, this is a safe bet. I'm not even counting on beta starting on Monday either.

In reality, they're busy fortifying their HQ for the impending assault that is to come when they push it back another week. Higby is directing TRAP placement, and the minefield. T-Ray is making sure the Turrets are in working order.

Clegg is, actually pretty active on twitter right now so I'm assuming he isn't involved in the defense. I imagine he's going to be used as a decoy of some sort.

They won't be ready though. You see I'm preparing my alpaca cavalry unit for a full frontal assault.
