AMS variation between Sunderer and Galaxy

It's been little over a month since I played Planetside 2 last, and I won't be playing it for another couple of months, but when I played the Sunderer had not been given the AMS-cert yet.

When I played however, it was always good fun to land a Galaxy close to an area of high combat-concentration and see a constant stream of +5s on the screen, but admittedly it was quite unbalanced, granted how easily you could do this successfully without the help of a squad.

I am therefore happy to see that the Galaxy has been "nerfed" and the Sunderer has gotten a more significant role, but it is only a matter of time before the Galaxy will once again replace the Sunderer, because it is simply more mobile and convenient.

Basically what I'm trying to say is that I think the Galaxy should perhaps receive further restrictions in order to achieve the type of gameplay many PS2-players hope to experience; combat-intensive frontlines and organised covert-ops. Limit Galaxy-spawning to platoons. This way you won't get the 'wormhole-effect' of a galaxy landing behind enemy lines and spews out hundreds of soldiers within a matter of minutes.

Yes, the Sunderer can have the same effect, but it is much more restricted in terms of geography than a Galaxy, and it can't escape as easily as a Galaxy can, but unlike the Galaxy, the Sunderer is a useful front-line vehicle.

I think that by doing this, SOE would achieve more of what players hope to see in PS2 and it would make the Galaxy even more iconic, since it would become a representation of organised squads

Thoughts?

Suggested that a while ago and it seems that's what they plan to do with it now: squad spawn. Especially since a Gal Squad spawn would help the concept of Gal Drops more than Gal forward spawns.
