Who are We?

Founded on July 20th, 2009, the Black Arrows [BA], formerly known in Planetside 1 as the 1ST Special Recon Battalion [SRB], is a growing outfit maintained by dedicated PS1 veterans and new players alike who have come together to advance the interests of the New Conglomerate. We foster a friendly and welcoming atmosphere with an emphasis on speed, efficiency, coordination, and aggression in our operations. We are the first to the fight, and tend to act as the sharp tip of the New Conglomerate spear.

Our name, the Black Arrows, is a reflection on what we do. We are the first to the fight, we move quickly, and catch our enemies by surprise. We strike hard, and we strike fast.

Why Join us?

We have a strong chain of command, which serves to lead the three main divisions of the Black Arrows - Infantry, Mechanized, and Aerospace - to victory.

The Infantry division, personally led by our outfit leader Ltiy, is the life-blood of the Black Arrows. These hardened grunts assault ground targets with brutal aggression. They are the front-line fighters of the New Conglomerate, and serve as its vanguard. The first platoon in the infantry divison, Firestorm, is led by the divison leader.

The Mechanized division, led by Botta, is the shield and hammer of the Black Arrows. This division specializes in neutralizing hostile armor threats and demoralizing any hostile ground forces, forcing them into full retreat. The first platoon in the mechanized division, the Holy Knights, is led by the divison leader.

The Aerospace division, led by Zepln, is primarily focused on clearing hostile airspace and providing lethally efficient close air support. This division plays a vital support role to ensure the advance of the New Conglomerate ground forces. The first platoon in the aerospace division, the Blackhawks, is led by the division leader.

We currently have 75+ active members, led by a dedicated team of officers and Planetside 1 veterans. We are growing rapidly, and are attempting to reach an active roster of 200+ members. We strive to liberate outposts and bases from the clutches of our enemies, so as to create a free Auraxis in the name of the New Conglomerate.

We will be playing on the Mattherson East server.
Our current op times are Sundays; Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday nights.
Ops times are subject to change according to the needs of the outfit.

I'm Zep, AKA BAxZep on Lysithea (East).

I'm the Aerospace Division Commander of BA, and am also a PS1 veteran. I joined SRB back in 2009. I'm looking for dedicated pilots with a main focus in Reaver proficiency. I promote coordination between pilots, pilots flying with wingmen, and an overall willingness to do what is necessary to protect fellow faction mates. While the Black Arrows operates as an offensive deployment of the New Conglomerate, the Aerospace Division fulfills a defensive and supporting role in protecting the advances of friendly ground forces.

If you're a decent pilot and are willing to fly with like-minded and equally skilled individuals, check us out. I look forward to flying with you.

I am the last remaining founder of SRB from Planetside 1 and the outfit leader of Black Arrows.

The officers and I are working hard to create that "dream" outfit you have always wanted to be apart of. Some changes to the scene include a more interactive infrastructure, more elaborate procedures and the biggest one, ability.

It's safe to say this is not the same outfit from PS1.

Give us a real go, I promise you will not be disappointed.

I'm Lonely Fermata, known as just "Fermata" on Lysithea.

I joined the Black Arrows shortly after getting into the beta about a month ago. I was hooked by how well-coordinated the outfit was and how friendly all the other members were when I was playing with them. I was given the opportunity to be a recruiter for the outfit when I showed some initiative in trying to recruit new members to the outfit in-game, so now I'm pretty much the first person new and prospective members interact with when they play with us.

I'm putting that out to say two things - We accept all levels of experience - Planetside 1 vets and brand new players alike; and that there are plenty of opportunities to take a leadership role in the outfit if you have the ambition to become an officer.

I look forward to seeing you on the battlefield!
