I love Indar myself, simply because it feels like it's smaller and I don't have to trek all over the place to find a fight.
Now I know all continents are the same size (allegedly), but it feels different, maybe the bases and outposts are closer? I have no idea as I haven't actually measured anything out as I don't like the other continents. Btw, I could give a rat's ass about eye candy; I have everything turned to low anyways. I just want a good, functional place to fight that other people also migrate to and Indar is it. |

Esamir is filled with wide open spaces. While there's some locations that are very well done with an amount of creativity, the surrounding openness makes the continent very "zerg vehicles here" and so while on indar you might lose an entire flank in the continent from a strong vehicle push, you can effectively lose the entire continent to one empire on esamir in a short period of time. (especially if they take Eisa quick enough, with numbers this cements the empire's superiority on the continent).
Amerish is nice, pretty well done. Terrain can get frustrating here and while rocket podding and lib bombing runs are annoying elsewhere, they are even more plentiful here with lots of vertical terrain to maneuver around destroy ground forces. There's lots of room for fun here but unless you're in the air just moving somewhere can be annoying. Indar has had the most revision on it than the other two. There's at least a good amount of diversity as it was split into 3 biomes for their early thoughts of making the contineants very different throughout. The outposts have recieved an amount of tweaking that the others haven't as Indar has been played on the most. Plus Indar gives infantry benefits which most players seem to focus on when they aren't farming in vehicles. tl;dr - Indar has been fleshed out the most. |

Still, everything is hampered by using those atrociously exposed spawn-shacks that make Air Superiority an Insta-win button. |

I play on Indar almost exclusively not because I necessarily like it more, but because that seems to be where most people play (I really like the big fights). When I check the other continents out there's generally no action anywhere else most of the time.
And the terrain is pretty varied on Indar as well too, today for example I finally got involved in a big fight over the crater impact site. Jumping from the bridge as light assault onto the towers with 10 others doing that with you was some of the most fun I've had in a game period. |

...Kind of sad that Western Indar doesn't really have anything like that. |

I want a small but dense city cont with all new buildings, not just the same outposts copied and pasted over and over again. One without any vehicles but it's intense fighting with like 300 v 300 v 300 or something..
I'd love to see that simply because the current bases are shit and SOE are just going to copy and paste them on every large cont they do. I bet the next cont will be exactly like we have now but the gimmick will be unfun lava hazards or something.... I don't like ground vehicles in this game because apart from a few areas, it is too annoying to travel in them because of all the cliffs and now you cannot go up small hills in vehicles since that patch that turned them to butter, it's even more annoying I just find myself spawning aircrafts because you don't have to deal with that shit. In Planetside it was much easier to travel around a cont, much bigger open spaces than Planetside 2 which seems to want to put hills and cliffs and narrow paths everywhere. |

I keep posting my Alamo Mushroom spawn building idea all over this forum because, YES, just replacing those stupid little spawn shacks that look like Red-Cross Relief huts with something you could actually FIGHT BACK FROM would improve the game THAT immensely!
...Esamir would be SO much more enjoyable if it has ACTUAL Military installations for combating ground vehicles, instead of abandoned gas stations and radio antennas... |

The Crown.
This might be the best feature about this game. It's a mountaintop fortress with near perfect line of fire on every approach route. I love defending it. You can hold it with only infantry against a superior force even while all your other territories are falling. Often you have the 2 hostile factions attacking, each from their side. I do agree that because of the position of their warp gate (and perhaps the terrain) TR has a significant advantage in terms of holding territories. |
