Allow me to introduce myself..

My name's BladeRunner, I'm a new member of the community here at PSU. I've been in IRC a few times now, and I plan to be there much more. I read the forums several times a day, every day, and check my email with great anticipation probably 30 times a day. I consider myself very attached to PlanetSide at this point, and I'm very much looking forward to its release and/or open beta.

A little about me.. I'm 18, senior in high school, and will be attending the University of Oklahoma (eventually majoring in Computer Science) next year. I've been quite a consistent "gamer" for about 6 years or so. My first major games that we LAN'ed were Doom and Mechwarrior 2. Since then, the time I've spent mainly playing both in LAN environments and online: CS, Q3, Tribes 2, and DAOC. In all my gaming experiences I've been the leader/organizer of the team.. Which ranged from as small as myself and a few local friends to about 50 in our guild on DAOC (at one time).

So, I hope I can contribute some intelligent comments to the forums here, and in IRC. And of course, I hope I get to "meet" most of you in PlanetSide and we can hunt some tangos together

Welcome You're a couple of months late for most intelligent discussions, we've kinda headed downhill as of late. Oh, and I'd stay away from Oklahoma. I hear they have ebola. Go to Nebraska, very safe and actually good at football (last year was a fluke).

I'll put PSU into High School terms for you so you have a better grasp of what's going on. The class clown is probably Squeeky. The class president is Hamma....mainly because he's the only name on the ballot The chess club is like CDL. The glee club is the M.W.L.A. And the cool kids that everyone wishes they could hang out with? Well my young friend, that'd be BOHICA.
