News: Hotfix and Server Downtime 04.24.2013

All servers will come down at 5:30 AM PT (2:30 PM CEST) for a brief update to address a few outstanding issues. Downtime is anticipated to be approximately 2 hours. Players may note the following changes:

• Show your aircraft some love with Lumifiber Trim in the Depot. Equipable for the Galaxy, Liberator, Mosquito, Scythe, and Reaver.
• Fixed the issue with players that are stuck with two helmets equipped on top of each other. Note that you will need to re-equip your helmet if you were affected by this issue.
• The Rashnu Bio Lab forward spawns should once again be able to be captured
• Instant action and squad deploy timers are no longer tied to the normal facility respawn timer
• Disabled the vestigial Capture HUD (0/0) UI on capture points as well as the now defunct loading screen tip regarding the element
• Fixed missing audio for the Prowler while anchoring
• Fixed missing piece on the VS Lasher
• First person rifle jump animation has been fixed
• Tint adjustment on VS helmets have been made.

Still no fix for Striker 2nd and 4th clips not doing damage...

Please make a fix for the issue with previewing weapons and then still being able to use the weapon when the preview time has ended. Its so damn tempting to just carry on using the weapon.

That has been fixed, as far as anyone getting anything new. However, those with "free" weapons still have them. Also, you cannot cert anything into these.

And the Lumifiber is something we have been waiting on ever since it was datamined.

It would be nice if they would fix the invisible recon dart clip, and the fact that sometimes, the dart just doesn't scan. You fire it off, look at the map, nothing.

I rarely play infiltrator, but attempted to play it some recently and this issue is highly annoying. Especially the firing the dart and then your mini map bugs out so that it doesn't display the radar scans.. just looks like the dart dies.

There is also a bug that jacks up your weapon so that it looks like it's off center even when you zoom in and you don't get a crosshair. The only way I know to fix it is switch classes to a different weapon set so that you reload your weapons shown on character... simply resupplying with the same loadout doesn't fix it.

You have to be within the dart's range to receive its scan info, just like scout radar only broadcasts to allies within its sensor range.

If that was the case when you noticed this, then it is clearly an issue. I haven't noticed it when using it though.

I don't see the fix for the very annoying bug that empties your equipment slots after a VR room visit.

Actually they managed to make it worse. What happens now is the attachments show being equipped graphicly, but there are no modifications to the weapon's stats. You still have to remove/re equip to clear the bug...

Try it your self:

1. Aim at a set point while in the Warp Gate, fire your weapon and note how the recoil, muzzle climb and COF bloom feels. Hopefully this is with all of the attachments on and working.

2. Enter the VR, test some weapons and different loadouts and then return to an active continent.

3. Look at your loadouts, you will notice your weapon attachments are as they should be. Pick that same point on the wall and test fire..notice anything?

4. Remove and restore all the attachments in the loadouts, resupply and run another test firing....what do you see?

5. Rage?
