there was only NC and TR warpgates shown on the map, how is the VS going to enter the island then? this confuses me the most.

Battle island are only for team vs. team. So VS would start at the same place than NC or TR depending on battle island acces condition.

Early days but really keen to know how this will effect low pop servers if two factions are off fighting in their own world.

I presume that's where strategy comes in. If NC (say) all decide to go off and fight on a BI that you can't get to you go and capture all their territory and make them decide what do they want more a BI or the rest of the world.

The essence of PS in my view.

It also kinda points out the need for home conts and sancs too tho.

So no one else noticed that there wasn't one single Vanu Sovereignty infantry or vehicle in that entire two-some-odd minute long preview for Nexus?

Not a single one...

Because it's not a 3way?

The other two factions enjoy greater popularity from players, as well as being the two biggest rivals in the threeway since Planetside 1. Not very surprising to see no Vanu in this particular trailer!

I'm digging how the same models can make such a better environment when the team can spare some bit of extra care on level aesthetics due to the smaller size of the environment. It got me curious to play on the Nexus more than before

Ok so the NC had the North East warpgate because they controlled the entry point at Esamir.
The TR had the southwest warpgate because they controlled the entry point at Amerish.
Now in order for the VS to be able to access Nexus they most move on the TR on Amerish or the NC at Esamir. Once the VS defeats either one then they will have access to a WG that leads to Nexus.
I know this is obvious to most of us. But in case anyone is confused. It's not a bad Idea. 3 ways get some people tired after a while.

And not to mention 3 ways rarely happen anyway. At least on Connery anyway.

Edit: Oh almost forgot. So want a fireworks gun!!!

Aye - it could work. Interesting ideas.

Sounds reasonable and quite plausible. Of course one question, if the VS took the warpgate from NC on Esamir, what happens to the NC forces currently on Nexus? Are they teleported out or are they simply stranded troops hunkered down? Personally I prefer the latter since it would be interesting to have essentially a 'guerrilla' faction trying to hold onto its severed territories.
