Grief Point Evaporation

I have heard that grief points go away over time. I was just wondering a few things

1.) About how quickly do they go away?
2.) Will they continue to go away if you are logged off or do they only go away when you logged on?

I may be mistaken, but I think the grief point system is getting changed in the coming days ..

like it is right now, you accumulate them WAY too fast, and end up having weapons locked real fast if you start getting involved in big fights ..

Blast it all!! It is amazing what looking around the main site for while will do. I found the grief system section and I know how it works now. I hope they do change it. I heard it is pretty bad.

yeah, last night they reset the grief points the second time in about 3-4 days and now they set the amount of time it takes for them to go away to be 10x quicker. but the GM said it was only a temp fix so we'll have to wait for thursday's patch to find out what they end up doing.
