command rank 1 & 2 questions

im currently like 2caps away from cr2, and i have a question. What does it give? All i know is that cr2 is when you can use the command tool, but what else does it let you do?

and in cr1 i read it lets you set your squad into wings? how is this done? I was only able to do the waypoints for the entire squad

You can use the command chat and use the "Display all friendlies on the continent" mode of the uplink device.

Delirare, sorry to "jack" your post... But I was with a commander rank 1 yesterday that did not know how to set team waypoints. I have no interest in becoming a commander, but how do you set team waypoints?

ty for da reply. and for setting waypoints, hit m for map, then theres an extra bar thing at the bottom named command, you hit that, hit 'add waypoint' then hit somewhere on the map with left mouse not right. that'll add the waypoint, click it again to remove, can have upto 4

Yea you can pick up the command uplink device in the "equipment" tab of an inventory station. (i think thats the name of the tab, same place you get the rek)

Does the command uplink device take up space in your inventory? If so, how much?

It is the same size as the other handheld items like the REK, 2x2 I guess you would call it.

correct, like subsquads. and command chat at 2? i was just told by a cr2 guy that command chat is at cr3? clarification?
