What i wanna see

Been playing the game with every waking non working moment I can spare for a bit now and observing the richness and generaly gushing about every part of it to my friends etc since the NDA was released. One thing I hwhould like to see added is a MAX (common pool) or vehicle with honest to Bob Mortar Capabilities ala tribes. Maybe tie the targeting laser into command rank or something similar.


Also I think i'd like to see a MAX geared for melee ala gundam wing, I know we already have the infiltrators with their power knives but seeing a MAX with a laser claymore whould be nifty.

Those are all good ideas, but a laser claymore? Whats that? A bomb that shoots lasers? Thits kind of odd in my oppinion. Do you mean laser sword? A claymore is some kind of explosive (I think).

In addition to being a directional bomb comprised mostly of a can some ball bearings and some C4 a claymore is also a really big scottish ( think history buffs dont kill me) longsword. Think braveheart. A flachion katana scrimitar, bastard sword and a whole host of others might have worked but I figure for a MAX ya really need a big sword.

a claymore is a long medevil type sword and i think thats what he ment when he said that. then again i could be wrong

there is a close range max already, its called the NC-AI max how muh closer do you want it to be?

and there will never be a true morter system, you will get a chance to return fire every time, the devs have stated no artilli in every chat-post-idea-etc they they have given for the last 6 months, we will never get artilli since it just causes loss of fun in game.

BTW, most infs use their empire's pistols (the scattergun is ka ) I do not see many knives ever, only used mine once when I was out of ammo on everything else and a guy was still shooting at me....
