Don't worry about beta now. Nothing else you can do that will help out the Devs. Just put your order in for your retail copy of Planetside now. I get off of work early monday morning. You'll bet that I'll be hanging by the EB store before they open around here to get my copy.

I suppose that having it for two days, then having to pay for it, would be rather sucky...
Plus, I'm getting my computer upgraded on the long weekend (Yay for victoria day) and the rig I have now likely can't run it anyways.

Yeah, I don't know why I'm bothering with this, really. I'm still gonna buy the thing even if I hate the beta cuz I'll rationalize that A) this is beta B) My comp sucks it will be better with new comp C) It will get better in the first free month anyways D) It will get better after the first free month, too.

I guess it boils down to just wanting to shoot somebody with my gauss before the 20th... Ah well.

Er... I have no idea what the manufacturer is... My big brother is the hardware guy (Electrical engineer, even) so he's handling a lot the little details...
ANYWAYS, have I got a story to tell you guys. A story of misfortune and woe. I'm sitting there last night watching the beta download from fileplanet, it's gotten up to about 40% and is estimated for being done sometime tuesday when *zot* power goes out. The last power outage we had was over a year ago. Of course, 15 minutes later it came back on.
Death.
