No planetside for us

Sigh no fair Can'y get planetside till thursday here in australia, just no fair is it as good as it looks?

I beta tested it, but decided not to buy it. Of like my six friends that also tested only one kept playing. He's kinda addicted and he is BR 13, but that's another story. Only way I'll ever get it is if it improves a lot because right now it gets quite repetitive. Its kinda fun to drive the stuff, but you can't gun in most of them and if you can, it is really hard to shoot. Just my thoughts. It is a super great game for a while, but kinda gets boring after the first few weeks. There isn't much to work for but BR20 and there isn't any real recognition or anything and no way to check what BR the people are. Since they nerfed the exp system with splitting it among squads and stuff it isn't that great.

the game has ALOt of potential but I decided not to buy it yet due to the reason I don't think the game is ready for release. i.e. several bugs I kept running into on the last day of beta. if you run into bugs on the LAST day of beta the game is not ready for release.

You aren't missing much, unless you really like playing musical bases.

PS has its flaws, but its still pretty fun.

I really enjoy the game. There is a lot to do and the amount of team work involved is great.

I'm probably one of the few that actually plays the game as it was intended. I don't worry about leveling, BEP or Certs. I just grab a gun and jump into the big battles and have fun.

If you can do that you'll enjoy it. But, if you're the type that worries about your ranking and getting to the next level then forget it. There's only 20 and you'll get there soon enough.

One of my biggest gripes has to do with all the people complaining about how repetitive it is. Give me a break. Every FPS is repetitive. You play the same maps over and over with the same guns, equipment and vehicles. With Planetside you get the same experience but on a grander scale.

For me Planetside is just like any other FPS. Just bigger and better.

Sure its fun, but it was alot MORE fun during beta, with real battles. Capping a base was atleast somewhat challenging then, now its a cakewalk.

Capping bases are a cakewalk? I was in Beta too and I still see some base fights rage for hours.

Could it be there's simply more noobs in the game now who haven't quite figured out tactics yet. Veterans always complain.

I predict that in a few weeks you'll see the same level of competition over bases that you saw toward the end of Beta. People just need to be broken in.

I hope so, but I just don't see how that will happen when you can get 4k exp for a cap.
