Just what they remind me of. Anyone reminded of anything else when seeing MAXes?

I think the VS MAX renderings look like a Purple Samus suit, but not in game.

VS max remind me of a purple version of the Maxamillion robot in the 80's (or was it 70's) movie "The Black Hole".

Yep. That's exactly what the MAX armor is, although the Terminator armor was by far cooler than MAX armor. Now all we need is some Space Marine Powered Armor and we'll be ready to rock

While we are on the topic of 40k, have you noticed the similarities between the the Imperial Vanquisher and Vanguard... the tanks look the same (without the fancy decoration and colours), the names are similar and they both pwn all the other tanks.
