At first I wanted to be NC when I got this game, but now I've read a post about the VS, and they sound pretty cool. When you make a character on a server, can you delete them and make one for another faction, or are you stuck with the same character? If you can't delete I'll have to test the factions on US servers then make my character on Werner

I changed my mind from completely NC to NC/VS borderline

go to character screen for the server you play on. Delete the characters, and hit the back button. You can now select your side.

I tried Vanu early on too. Like NC

I'm a dedicated NC player, but whenever I just want to have some fun I go VS. Mostly for their maxes, I just love being able to get up to the craziest places by myself and shower death from above.

You gotta remember though, there are like 5 or 6 servers to play on, so you could have a different empire on each one and play whichever you feel like at the time.
