So there will be a membership service but they haven't decided on how it will be done or what it will provide.
I am not too concerned about what it provides, if it is a good game I will give them money so lets skip to the payment. Personally I would prefer a one time membership fee similar to the LoL setup. You pay and receive a small bundle of exclusive skins, station cash, maybe some basic sidegrades, and possibly a higher resource cap since they are planning on implementing it. I don't think a subscription that gives an XP/Res boost should be encouraged. |

I voted "subscription" because that is my preferred method of payment, but the game already supports both. Essentially you can make a one-time payment by just buying up all your favorite items on the cash shop and then playing for free.

When they announce what the base subscription will give per month AND we find out what customizations cost, THEN we can make a meaningful vote.

They said that a sub will allow you to accumulate resources when you log off. That's all I know atm, but I would expect and increased rate of resource gain when actively playing as well - similar to WoT Premium account.

I hope for the WoT model - play for free when you're short on time and can just put in a bit of time here and there (and to keep you interested) and then the option to buy premium time for when you know you will get the full value out of it, in blocks of a couple days/weekend right up to a month or year.
I wouldn't still play WoT at all if it was a fixed monthy sub, but because I can play for free for the occasional battle they keep me interested and will still get money from me from time to time. |
