I accidentally subbed to FP for a whole year.

Good thing I did.

I'm very disappointed.

It looks and runs like shit for me. I need to mess around with it, some but wow expectations blown.

When I saw the first video of QW I was really excited. Then I saw a video showcasing its gameplay and from then on I've been a little skeptical. Will still give the beta a go though.

They've added ranks into the game, which pretty much kills it for me.

I might play it as some point... but the only games that caught my eye recently are fallout 3 and assassin's creed. I've waited too long for Quake wars... to me it's just another game coming out.

Yeah I am to. I really liked the original ET.
Normal settings should work at the very least: 7800gt, athlon 3700+ 2 gigs of ram. Like I said I'm going to fiddle, but it's got to wait until this weekend.

When I put my specs in, it said that I couldn't be in this beta. Yet my specs are a little bit better than yours Rbstr.

Athlon FX-55, 2GB memory, 8800GTS.

Personally I was dissapointed, dispite the steep requirements the game imho looks like crap. It feels like BF rehashed in some form.. CSS looks better and plays better.

Didn't like it at all, hopefully TF2 won't be as much of a letdown.
