(Not sure if this is the right forum for this, go ahead and move it and PM me if it this is misplaced. Thanks)
This is my first PS video! I think you should all find this highly entertaining and a slightly higher caliber than most PS videos produced. (I have OCD, I strive for quality like a crack addict looking for a fix.) Check it out, all of the AMS jacking was within about a 10 minute window on Solsar last night. The VS just kept putting up all these AMSes around me! If you were there last night, you might be in the video! (Right Click and "Save Target As" for optimal playback) Mirror 1 (fast) Mirror 2 (slow) This is the first time I've even installed Premiere in 5 years, so all praise and constructive criticism is welcome. |

What did you use to record it? I have tried the public dl of FRAPs, only to find it slowed down my fps (and I have a fairly high end pc). Great video man!

Thanks guys! I really appreciate your comments.
KIAsan I used the registered version of FRAPS. My PC isn't terribly high end (AMD 2100+, 1024mb PC2700 DDR333, ATI Radeon9800 Pro 128mb) but I found I could maintain acceptable framerates with it recording "Half-Screen". Having a really high RPM (~10,000) Harddrive helps big time. Also note that it will decrease your frame rate to whatever you're recording at. So even if you're used to 160 FPS, you're going to get knocked down to 25 fps since that's the record fps. (This is typical of Film at 25fps, NTSC broadcasts are 29.97fps) |

Thanks byteblock, I will check out FRAPS again. Got the dual raptor harddrives running as a RAID array, so that shouldn't be a problem. I just experienced major lag with the public version, then quickly discarded that idea. So, will try it again with the purchased version.
Thanks again.

No offense to Strygun or any other staff member, but the Movie section of PSU is the only one that still needs a lot of updating . You guys should really include both Malvision SoA videos, as well as tons more independent videos, like the one in this thread.
