Whelp, Finally Happened

An hour ago one of the TR logged onto a new F2P account (presumably) as Vanu to break a tower siege. Joined the only active platoon and proceeded to kill everyone.

Had to be a vet, because he didn't attack non-platoon members to keep from locking.

Was good while it lasted, but only took 3 days for F2P abuse to start.

I wouldn't really call that abuse, the china players used to do that all the time sometimes with several players lol.

Eh, just expected it to take awhile before the cheap crap came out.

Was kinda sad because TR had over 50% of pop at the time.

I just don't expect the new players to stick around if that occurs during peak hours a lot.

Of course it's abuse and it's pathetic and sad. :/

Especially considering they don't seem to understand that the period of play you get out of this gets much shorter every time they do this.

SOE seems to kind have just made the game free without any preparation for it. Wasp bug is still there. Core Combat is still broken. There is nothing stopping hackers from ruining everything if they so choose.

I'm a little worried to say the least.

But why would hackers go and do that? Why the hell would you go to a game that's almost a dozen year old just to pester a few hundred people? What kind of sad person are you then?

There does seem to be a lot of rof/cof hackers but much harder to spot, most are TR (I am TR also) and you can almost instantly tell just by the sound of the MCG and the TTK. Sad, and I suspect will only get worse also.

Id rather deal with this than the guys teleporting all over in unkillable maxs ruining the game for everyone.
