BoB + Dev Fiasco

So I poped onto EOG forums for a bit to see what was up and caught wind of the DEV + BoB fiasco. I read that Hacker guys forum for about an hour and filled it all in. Whats everyone else's jist on all this?

I don't know the gory details, but CCP is doing a huge internal investigation and it is likely that one or more people will have their employment podded.

As far as I can make out some guy got hold of the database for BoB's forum (or something) and basically started digging out PMs which were from people who were practically identifiying themselves as CCP staff.

If any devs abused their position may they be thrown to the sharks in Reykjav�k harbour. Or perhaps subject to the methods of torture as described by the EVE Chronicles

Seriously though, I hope that action taken is fits the crime committed and that this doesn't get blown out of all proportion.

Apparently, this guy got them good and found out one of the CCP guys in their ranks just handed them 20+ T2 BPOs when he needed to take a break. And another where they found out they were selling game accounts and isk on Ebay, that is BoB upper ranking officers.

What the above guy said.. players got mad about the whole situation and the devs pretended nothing happend so an alliance was formed with one purpose; to annihilate BoB completely. I didn't know what happend then but what i have heard is that BoB had the upper hand but at the very moment are in full retreat to their core systems and abandoned their outer systems.

Another thing people are starting to dislike BoB is that BoB actually forces corporations to pay isk to be in their alliance, i think it was 6 bill isk or more that BoB forces corporation to pay up and this is one of the main reasons one of the core corporations left the alliance and there are rumours going that other corporations might follow their footsteps.

Seems BoB is going down very soon..
