I don't know about guys, but im hoping planetside has an amazing sky. I havent really seen much of it in gameplay so far, but as silly as it seems a really great sky with heaps of effort and detail put in to (kind of like Skyrim) just sets a game on a different scale. How do you guys feel?

Yeah, it is too bad that gameplay-affecting weather-effects isnt in the game yet, but when it comes i am sure they will do a fantastic job with the weather. But for now, i am just waiting eagerly for beta. The faster they make it go online the better.

Particularly when the smoke from burning vehicles creates plumes of dark smoke that drift across the battlefield subject to wind and weather conditions. And dogfighting through thunderclouds in a rainstorm... damn, it makes me wonder why anyone might not want to fly an aircraft! Last edited by Electrofreak; 2012-06-12 at 12:44 PM. |
