Lord help me


Seriously though Im building my new computer today []But I have never built one before Im sure I can figure it out [xx(]

I bought a 21" Turbo gamer x-pider case black with 420w ps with 5 led fans,a Asus a7n8x deluxe ,a AMD xp 2400( gonna get a bigger 1 in a few months) and 512 mb of pc 3200 ddr333 samsung ram ,a black cdrom and the rest im dragin out of my old pc for now.[]

Wish me luck

and any advice anyone has please let me know cause none of this suff comes with instructions

That case and board are really nice (did you get the deluxe board?) Make sure all your jumpers are set.

Yeah i got the deluxe but im kinda lost here I cant figure out how to get the cd rom in there doesnt appear to be anything for it to attach to I havent gotten to the mobo yet OI

ok I figured out the cd rom but I have no idea what screws to use to fasten the rail to the drives

don't worry, putting in a cpu is easier than most people think. Just line up the pins and snap it in. then put that little heat conductive stuff on and snap the heatsink fan in.

yeah it went ok it was alot easier than I thought , not where do I apply the heatsik compound and how much do I use ?

The most important thing for a first time builder: RTFM (Read the F****** Manual).

Make sure you don't mess up putting the heatsink on the CPU, I burnt one once.

GL, I built mine a couple years ago. Building comps is a lot easier than most people think.

How do I know if I did it right ?

well It may not matter because the motherboard automaticaly shuts down if the cpu gets to warm I hope
