Good,their fixing the tr aa max,the thing we've been talking about on the thread about tr problems.

Could be good or bad, I'd rather not have burster be lock on. Burster just needs a damage increase. Its rediculus that it takes 2.5 clips to kill a reaver when you can't even fire off a full clip before a reaver can kill a burster.

Hopefully they'll either nerf NC and VS lock on distance so they have to use skygaurds or give the TR some kind of uber bonus towards libs (something like the longer flak travels the more damage it does).

I think the TTK with locked down burster is more similar to the one of Starfire.

Except for like.. a couple things..

its NOT the same ttk as a starfire because it actually takes skill....

99% of the VS have starfire certed.....

It takes 18 DIRECT hits with flak to kill a reaver, I think. . . or maybe thats a mossie, but either way.. do you know how hard it is to hit an afterburning mossy/reaver user, 18 times... locked down... with a limited range of motion?

Plus, bursters cant FLY.. now CAN they? The starfire kills faster than the burster... and it can FLY! DO NOT compare the starfire to the burster. The starfire is the utterly overbalanced Max AA. KTHXBYE.

As for changes, I hope they either A) Nerf the starfire, B) Buff the Burster, or C) Remove the VS.

Oh well.

Did you know that 99% of all statistics are made up?

BTW, starfires JUMP not FLY. Flying implies being able to be airborn for more then a few seconds. No one ever says "Chickens can Fly", yet they can stay in the air just as long as a starfire. I am sure you will now enjoy the comparison of a starfire user and a chicken.

The only fix AA maxes need is against libs. NO AA MAX is good against a lib at ceiling. Bursters are hard to lead, and the others can't maintain lock. Not to mention my biggest AA pet peeve.......

the tr aa max surely needs improvement... the flak of the max is definitely fun but the damage sucks

Well if they remove the VS, I wouldn't have to worry about budgetting my time between MMOs anymore. The TR aren't organized enough and I would feel dirty playing with NC weapons.

Going to a comment up there, it takes less than 1 clip to kill a reaver with the TR AA MAX.


Any buff to make my just fine Burster MAX a beast, i'm cool with.

when will you actually be able to re-cert?

Recerting would be awsome because when i wanted to change more than 1 cert at a time i had to wait 24 hors between each cert.

Sounds like when this patch goes live you will have the ability to recert if you want to.

I have to check the burster damage but its NOT less then a clip. I'm pretty sure its 2 and a half clips as I use one often.
