As long as the there is armored transport (such as a Galaxy), which can withstand a fair amount of punishment before reaching a drop off point near any objective, the guys (and girls) on assault will come out on top. If you can get in close with that sort of firepower, you've got the situation under control.
You never know though, out in the open tanks will be king against the infantry while they are prey to heavy aircraft. Only the stupid and overly equipped will stay out in the open for too long ...

I tend to agree with Isic, I think a fine balance will prevail, commanders and outfits who can find that balance will be victorious. Also proper scouting of the enemy to see what their setup is, and designing an attack around that, will prevail. Since you dont have set timelimits, precise scouting will be an advantage.

Dropships will own because Kaikou and myself will be piloting them right into the heart of the enemy. I'm sorry, but not even the likes of a 5150 defense could stop the amazing offensive assualt Kai and I would deploy in the blink of an eye.
