Can't Land Aircraft

Since day one I, and everyone who uses a joystick has been unable to keep aircraft on the ground. Before Game Update 2 we were able to keep our aircraft on the ground by holding down the descend button we keybound to our joysticks. If we let go of the descend button aircraft would bounce and hover above the ground. Now, after Game Update 2, even holding down the descend button does not keep aircraft on the ground. They hover at all times. This problem has completely ruined flying in the game for everyone who uses joysticks and I can't believe it still hasn't been fixed.

I haven't seen this at all.. this only happens with a joystick? I'd recommend not using a joystick.. the support for it has been spotty.

Yeah, not getting this on either the L-E3D or the 'hawg, so "all joystick users" may be a bit of hyperbole. I'd also reiterate Hamma's point that stick support is pretty shitty and has changed wildly from patch to patch since tech.

Myself and many of the stick diehards in my outfit have reluctantly given up and switched. Sad, but it is what it is.

Its the new autohover "feature". If you press the "S" key while close to the ground your plane will autohover now, like if you pressed "space".
If you use a throttle control and you move it all the way back its like pressing "S" and you cant land anymore.

Yeah,this autohover is the problem.
I personally dont use the throttle control on my stick, so i dont have this problem.
But, otherwise i am very happy with my joystick.
I also use the logitech E3D pro and i cant imagine flying without it.
Got some examples of flying with it on my channel.

Not being able to keep your aircraft on the ground has completely ruined flying? lol

If you land and it wont stay on the ground, just get out and get back in. The aircraft will be in a neutral state and will just sit there.
