Was it Higby or RadarX who said that other companies don't announce Beta dates?
Trion says otherwise (End of Nations): http://endofnations.com/en/beta/ Please note Sony... that is how you do it. |

Don't get me wrong, i really respectate what they are doing, and I don't want them rushing the game. But telling us 'in the next few weeks'. And then making an annoucement again which says 'soon' 4 weeks later... I think they should have done this differently, they shouldn't have said anything, instead of saying in the next few weeks and then avoiding every question and giving us no information at all Again don't get me wrong, it is not my right to know what they're upto, but i know this is botheringa lot of people including me |

Seriously, either give a rough date or don't say anything, all they've done is built up a lot of hype and then people lose interest when nothing is released. I'm personally no longer hyped at all for this game, "Soon" has gone on for far too long. |

Don't confuse being disapointed with not being grateful. I've said it many times, we wouldn't be continually disapointed if they hadn't said anything. First Smed with "beta is closer than you think.." over a year ago. Then Higby with "beta invites are going out over the next few weeks.." over a month ago. No one expected a beta this soon until they basically told us it was....thus the disapointment. Last edited by Kurtz; 2012-07-03 at 01:47 PM. |

Every game the same.
No date? People ask for it. No answer? People get mad. Soon/very soon/in the next few weeks? People ask for a date again No date? People get mad. Give date? Most are happy, some get mad "Why not sooner?" Miss date? People go into ultra rage. No matter what ya do, people get mad or ask for more. Best thing to do? Dont develop the game in the first place, thats the only way to not have people rage on forums. That being said, i urge everyone to chill! You are making me mad. If you dont have a clue how this stuff works, then just wait and see. All of us cannot wait for beta, heck im having DREAMS about playing PS2. Yet, do you see me asking for a date? Nope. Why? Because I know that stuff simply needs time. A game doesnt appear if you set a date and let time pass. A game appears when its ready for it, or when you have to rush things for whatever reason, and no moment sooner. Take your time SOE, Its better we wait than find ourselfs in a beta that constantly crashes on our machines, and that lacks critical features. |

Don't listen to him. That is stupid.
You don't need to announce when beta starts. If you start beta right now, you don't have to worry about announcing when it will be out! In other words... Give us beta. |

In any case I wouldn't be locking in things like annual leave based around any actual new PS2 beta date we might eventually be given.
The day you are actually playing in the beta is the only time you'll know for sure. N.B. in the above, beta refers to closed external beta with vet intake. Not this type of beta... "beta in the next few weeks" And not to be confused with any beta that may or not be running atm that is not to be spoken about. |
