Helmet still looks like the TR helmet we've seen in the past in basic structure, but it does seem to have new additions. Previously we usually see it with a full on face mask or at least a respirator over the mouth. This customization seems to be more of a throwback to the old school helmet and goggles we all know and love (though I prefer the face mask and respirator, personally.)

As for the gun: pretty sure that's a cycler... souped up to kick ass. May be silenced or has extra firepower, obviously a laser sight as well.

Damnit! These sunset shots make seeing things clearly a PITA! But it's okay, they're just appetizers *drools.* Can't wait for the betas to kick off!

Almost all screenies of TR stuff are during the sunset. I think it's symbolic. As in, the sun is setting on the Terran Republic.

Is that a customised Cycler he has, really reminds me of the H&K SL8 or SL9 series rifle... one of my all time favourite guns ever.

I am very curious as to what the laser-dot does. Increases hip-fire accuracy, perhaps? Basically, if each soldier has a heads-up display (ie, a targeting reticle floating in front of our vision), I'm curious as to what benefit the laser-dot would give beyond the standard targeting reticle. I doubt the laser-dot would be purely cosmetic (especially since it makes the character more easily spotted, being a long, bright red line).

Any thoughts? Or maybe someone's already heard what it does in another interview/Twitter?
