Wooooo!

November 23, 2004 - LucasArts announced today that Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords has officially gone gold. This means, of course, that the good folks over at Obsidian have completed production on the RPG sequel, and the game is on-track to hit its December 6 street date.

The follow-up to one of last year's most acclaimed games, The Sith Lords takes place five years after the events in the first title. The new adventure will take you to entirely new locations, offer new weapons, force powers, and a host of fascinating characters and stories. Even the game engine itself has been enhanced: The Sith Lords features larger levels and new environmental effects like rain and lightning.

To see how it's been coming along, be sure to check out our complete coverage of the game -- and look for even more in the final weeks before it hits shelves.

So, would you suggest it over World of Warcraft, Half-Life2, Halo 2, or any of the other big games coming out?

KOTOR owns, simply put. This is the best RPG the Xbox has, by far.

It's pretty much the only RPG worth playing on Xbox.

Fable sucked

Fable did indead sucked. Luckily blockbuster gave me $35 for it and I got it from them free in the first place. Id reccomend this over World Of Warcraft. Only cause WoW sucks. First thing I thought when playing WoW was "Wow, WoW sucks, whats with all these cartoons?! wtf!" Im a big blizzard fan, I still play WC3:TFT regularly but man i was disapointed with WoW. On side note KotoR Rocks but was a tad short. Needs moar length and more freedom and bigger cities.

Mines were pointless, IMO.

that is really true, in the beginning of the game it forced you to use the special abilities of your characters, but in the end part i just raped everyone with 3 jedi
mines, grenades, and all that extra stuff was pointless

is KotOR II scheduled for PC? i'd rather have it on PC than xbox

Grenades especially the freezing kind were great. The PC and Xbox versions ship the same day.
