I saw a thread about East coast / West coast US servers. Does that mean like PS1 we can pick our server again?

I certainly wish to avoid west coast and take the higher ping for the east, with the opportunity of playing with / against Europeans and perhaps more rounded Americans

N. American servers will almost certainly be located in the same place. 10 years ago ping time could be significantly reduced just by placing them on either end of the continent, but thankfully technology has advanced.

For some reason, I was thinking you meant the same place as the PS1 servers had been located. Anyway, I hope the netcode you guys have is good, because I'm in MS and I get the packet loss pop up all the time. Never happened before the server move.
