The Question I Got Is What IS The Fun In Running In Dropping Tubes And/Or Gens, On A Cont That Has A Low Enemy Population.
Don't Get Me wrong I Understand, Dropping Gens To Rob Them Of Tech Or Of Benefits, Or If There Is A Massive Battle Going On, But When There Is 25+ of One Empire And 5 Of Another, It Is Boring. Base BabySitting Is What It Comes Down To, And A LOT Of Bored People TKing Each Other. Flame If You Want( I Am Flame Proof :P). But Maybe Some Special Bases Should Have Protected Gens And Tubes, Ex: An Extremely Effective Pain Field(Taking 15 Health instead of 5), And On First Attack Goes Into A Maximum Lock Down Closing Doors And Added Blast Doors That Have To Be Hack(As If No Hacking Cert And Can Not Be Opened From Inside By Enemy) Or Can't Be Hack By Those Without Any Hacking Cert, This Last As Long As It Takes For The Gen To Self-Repair. Same For Spawn Rooms, But A Shield Like Door Allowing Friendly Movement In And Out. It Can May be A Combo Base, Ex..Tech/Bio Or Amp/Interlink Any ideas. Ever think that perhaps its an outfit doing some practice runs? Or perhaps a squad of ppl just want to try out a new tactic?
I am a gen dropper/Spawn Tube Blower. I love my craft. It's one of the least loved (as far as experience) in the game. I love the sense and satisfaction I get when I lead a team of 5 ppl into a base and blow the gens while a zerg is going on. Don't immediately jump to conclusions and post before you think about it.

Noodle For something limp that is good point. But That Is The Down Side, If They Do Get Them Down, Which Prob Requires The Sacrifice Of At Least One Member, And It Will Hurt The Zerg If A noob Trys To Take It Down With Say with a lasher, but it was just a thought. But I Can Still Be Opened Just Takes The enemy Longer. Thanks for the input Last edited by SuperBallz; 2004-04-01 at 02:53 PM. |
