Got a video out? Got a vcr? hook it up and record. Ya need a video capture card to put it back in and edit it and stuff though.
Free: fraps. the latest version supports sound and a higher res, but cost cash. You can get the older versions for free though. Think your gonna have to run at 480x800 or whatever it is though. hehe.

Pinnacle Studio 8 (good, makes DVD's if you got the burner with moving menus and all, runs about $50)
Uleads VideoStudio 7 ( http://www.ulead.com/vs/runme.htm ) is good also or you can go with Vegas 4 http://www.sonicfoundry.com/products/vegasfamily.asp if you really want to go hog wild. (runs $500 +) but it will do just about anything you want. If your going to do videos, you need a good capture card and probably want a firewire port if you have access to a digital camcorder. I would start with Pinnacle Studio 8, learn the basics and then you can move up. It will allow you to do Slow motion, fast motion, picture insert, audio and transitions. If you get up to Vegas 4 then you can do image overlays, multi-video overlays, pretty much what ever you want. Otto
