So I have this older type of ram, and it just died. I need atleast a 512 stick and can't find one for a decent price. I could use some help on this.

You MAY be in luck, I think I've got a stick, but'd have to be an as-is sale as I can't test it anymore.
EDIT: Ok it's a 256mb stick, with "BAD" written on a sticker on it. Probably not worth the shipping.

I found a 256 stick at Best Buy but it was over $50. That is expensive.

You could buy a newish mobo with newish memory for less than that old shit.

I will be getting a new computer but I need to get a job first, so I can save up some money for a paintball gun, and then a computer. Paintball is more important to me, at this point in my life. I just need something now to run my computer for a little while.
