Forums so busy!

So I remember the times when I would log on and read all the new posts in all of the topics. Now I look at the thread list in the PS2 forum alone and the first page is JUST the past few hours.

I guess that means we are growing!

Props to Hamma and the crew for keeping this place going for so long and giving us a good community.

Now I just need to figure out how to keep up with all the posts without reading all of them...

Perhaps soon it will be time to branch out the PS2 discussion into sub-boards? Hmm.. Anyway, that's all I have to say. Cheers!

Things have been pretty busy despite people like Whalenator trying to get me to delete every thread that is created. I'm sure there are some dead forums for you to go to man if you don't like one that has threads in it

I've considered breaking off PS2 discussion but it would be tricky to do so and end up with us having to spend even more mod time moving things around.

I distinctly remember being gone for over a year and having only six posts to read when I returned. Good to have such a committed Admin. Most sites would be gone by that point.

Its good to see that the community is growing!

I hardly read threads anymore. There are too many for me to read, they're all about a thousand pages long, so I just don't get on here as much. Makes it hard for me to participate in any conversations. I usually throw something in a thread if its short.

I think I'll just be sticking to the lounge.

I'd love to see a resurgence of the lounge!

I've said this before but last time, in PlanetSide 1 the Lounge was the more popular forum. This time around it's the Game Discussion forum

Once the game is out, speculation will be down, and the only threads in Game discussion will be "OMGWTFH4XBBQ NERF THE ^*&^(*&^*( BUFF THE &*(&)&)*(" and it will pick the lounge up.

Yeah, I've been coming here daily for over a year now and now I gotta go to Page 2 to catch up and there are 20+ page threads that get locked before I even have a chance to find out what people are screaming about. While part of me liked the simpler times when threads were easily to follow, I'm really stoked that this place is picking up steam.

It can only mean good things for the game, although I know it's gotta be a ton more work for Hamma and the mods especially right now with the new site update. Keep up the great work Hamma.

I personally just use the New Post feature, skipping most of Lounge and Political Debate discussion

I love that theres a lot of PS2 discussion

Maybe it's just me, but it seems like the amount of discussion has stayed the same, but the number of more "useless" non-constructive posts has increased. You can see it in a few of the more controversial threads. Or at least when I've summarized the longer threads for people I get the feeling it's only a few people actively discussing with each other compared to those who don't read the original post or skim the title and post a one-liner.

Lounge is my preferred place. Im not much of a speculation thread person. I prefer to only care about what the devs say
