After a lengthy nomination and discussion process please welcome basti and CutterJohn aboard as moderators! Right now they are just working out of PlanetSide 2 Discussion and the Idea Vault but those duties may expand to other forums.

It will still be the same laid back moderating style as you have always known but now we will have more coverage to take care of issues as they arise.

Well shit, my first interaction with basti involved being called a troll by him, this does not bode well.

Well in all honesty you were unnecessarily "hostile" when you started posting around here, but now it's all cool IMO.

All in all I think the mod rights went to the right guys.

If people say incorrect shit or personally attack me (as happened in that particular thread I believe) I shall defend myself or point out their being incorrect, if that's considered hostile so be it.

I haven't changed my tone, and won't. The forums have been less stupid recently, so there's been fewer issues. As one of the more prolific posters I just happen to be on top of that stuff first, so I'm the one that's always in the thick of it by way of being first.
