We're currently halting any/all applications to our outfit. We thank every TR (and NC or VS) on Emerald who wants to be with us.
(I'm posting this here because some people come here first, then see the Recruiting forum on the bottom. If the Mods want to move this, it's ok with me.)

Not to start a flame war, but dont you think this post should belong on your outfits website and not here? This kind of public forum assumptive self-aggrandizement comes across as elitist and arrogant.
Im not saying you are like that but you guys sometimes come across that way. So chill with the public service announcements about your 1 single outfit.

I wanted to stop by and post a reply as to why Sentrosi posted this thread. We get a LOT of people asking about applying. Not because we are the best, because we aren't always, not because we are better than every other outfit, because we don't consider ourselves that; but we still get them. Yes, we do have tremendous pride in who we are, and I encourage that in the CDL, and I see nothing wrong with that. Yes, some of the guys talk a lot of smack, but name one outfit that doesn't - its all part of the game. If they get out of hand, come talk to me and I will look into the issue.
Sentrosi suggested we post this thread to let people know what our current policy is - I approved it. It's not meant to be some arrogant sounding post, just a simple public message. If it came off as arrogant, well, sorry about that - from what I read it doesn't seem that way. I suggest everyone just take it for what it is. (By the way, the reason for the two posts is one was moved by a moderator from the game forums.)

NoSurrender, Nice to see that you know who we are. Now, who the hell are you? Just messing with your guys Sent and Mani, much for CDL. |

Furthermore, it's no less than any other outfit has done on here- why single them out? |

Awesome! Now I can kill you all and not worry about you hiring highly skilled recruit ninja assassins to track me down!
To our NC allies and VS enemies (and Brotherhood members): I have secret intelligence picked up off of certain informers contrary to Sentrosi's statements. There will be ONE member joining. Said member will be extremely well guarded. Join our Brotherhood to find out more! fnord

The gun katas. Through analysis of thousands of recorded gunfights, the Cleric has determined that the geometric distribution of antagonists in any gun battle is a statistically predictable element. The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly. |
