Greetings!

Hello fellow PSUers! My name is Morsong and I am brand spankin new to these parts. Just wanted to say what's up!? Like most games I am going to start playing in the near future, I love to interact with its community beforehand. I've been browsing this site and these forums for a few months now, but just now registered. Here's a little info about myself:

I actually played Planetside when it first came out. I was a youngster and barely had the pc to run the darn thing, not to mention a 56k modem (remember those!?). Even with that I absolutely loved Planetside and it still holds some of my fondest gaming memories.

I have played most major MMOs out there, and none of them could even come close to bringing those memories back. Needless to say after hearing about Planetside 2 my eyes grew wide. I have been waiting for this game for years, and have done my research. Years of frustration with other games, and now it's about to pay off.

Talking about fond Planetside experiences the best was when a random person and I saw each other on a continent, formed a party (squad? I forget it's been a while), and starting getting more and more players. We finally had enough people where we took 3 or 4 liberators and started capturing bases and fending off enemies.

The voice chatter in the background and communication with other people was a game in itself, and I just remember being blown away of just being in this squad and wreaking havoc. Nothing has come close to that feeling.

Anywhos I just wanted to shed some light on my feeling about this game, and am very excited to be engaging conversation and ideas with this wonderful and amazing community. Cheers!!

Ha! My allegiance in PS1 was to the TR. It will still be TR in PS2.

God to hear, if your looking for a good group to roll with check out the Archangels. We've been around since before PS1 beta and kicking ass and taking names on a nightly basis.
