all vechs had a system that the driver coud quickly ad equipment to help it in combat.
like say you where a reaver pilot and you have trouble against emey aircraft so you add a ER upword ejection system and a ECM... these would be placed in the pilot inventory and when the vech is spawned the equipment is moved into the vech itself...

this would be cool to add to the elite abilitys or somthing like that.

Anyways. The idea is ligit. A nice ejection system on aircraft to clear the blast would be nice. Ive always thought bailers were pansy pilots who cant die with honor. When I get shot down I dont bail. I auger all the way in. ECM is something Ive always wanted and thought would be better suited in a medium sized (modified Liberator chasis?) aircraft. The ECM would jam all missles/ proximity explosives (I.E. Burster/ Skyguard ammo). The missles would take 200% to 250% longer to lock on, and would loose the lock alot easyer. This would have to be with in half an SOI to be effective. Thus the aircraft can still be shotdown and kill the effect.

You can already eject from a flying vehicle too easily, and last thing we need is for everyone to be able to do it. No I think it should be harder to survive your losing a dogfight and any 'elite' abilities should be based more in the customizing of the vehicle...whether artistically or ability...

The idea is to clear you from the blast. Not make it easyer to bail out.

im my big post i was going to do i wanted to have a long list of equipment as in a reaver you have its balence systems, life suport, camras, left/right thrusters, weapons, radar or ladar, guiding systems to control the craft and finaly the ejection system... if a player got a good shot they could shot down or jam the system... say you peacemaker shot me MCT with a
av weapon and locked up my ejection system... then i was gunned down by your friendly in a nother reaver... i would fall to the ground un able to eject.

And im sorry LimpBIT, but I have to agree with Peacemaker on this one. I am a veteran of these forums and I have seen alot of people flame and get flamed. this kinda idea has been floating around for awhile and personally I'd like to see more customization in vehicles so the more talk that happens the more ideas come around the more ideas come around the more likely something is gonna happen

Now, the idea of having something in your trunk when you spawn does have merit. I would love to be able to setup my vehicle spawn with the ammo config I prefer. Even filling in the blank space in the trunk with a glue gun and some canisters. I know many wraith drivers would love to have the trunk auto filled with boomers and other infil toys. Why not let us use favorites at the vehicle terminal, instead of making us run to and from an equipment terminal if we don't have the dropship center.

one thing I wish the devs would do would be to allow you to rotate items in your trunk so you can fit more stuff in there (you know that blank space along the edge that you ohh so want to fit your glue gun into but can't)

Great idea here. I hate not having access to my favorite Reaver layout just because we don't own a dropship center.
