PS1 Veterans - What would you like as a reward?

I know many people played PS1 for a long time, and some people still do. I myself played it for about a year while I had an active outfit, and had some great times with it.

I believe its already been stated that PS1 vets will get some sort of reward (aside from priority beta access) - so, post-release, what would you like to see as your reward?

For me:
* I think it probably has to be something cosmetic, not power giving.
* It has to be something other people can see if you want them to (not just a medal graphic on an obscure screen that only you see)
* It has to be something you aren't going to replace immediately because there's something else for sale that's way cooler. (Or maybe something like an arm-patch that takes a slot that you can't otherwise upgrade so that displaying your vet status isn't a tradeoff for buying other cool things.)

I mean, that's just my opinion - but if there's to be an item reward, what would you appreciate?

A free access to some "classic armor pack", with PS1 skins, would be nice though.

I would like that very much! New skins are amazing, but I'd love to have the classic skins just to pay homage to a game that I sacrificed thousands of hours of my life playing over the years.

I'd be happy at this and maybe my old skool gauss rifle model.

Edit: For all those "vets deserve nothing" people, how quick are you to forget the crap SOE subjected the player base to over the years in return for those £7.50 subs (by the way mine total in excess of $2000) i would hope that this customer loyalty will be rewarding as any good company would.

This too! I wanted re-skinned variants of all the original weapons, but then I got to thinking about how some weapons aren't going to perform exactly how they did in PS1, namely the HA's which are supposed to be carried like huge under barrell weapons, or at least to my understanding that's what they're going for.


MA remakes would suffice though!

It could also make sense lore wise, yes they might be old and replaced by newer gear but they still kill people just as good! Just might need some more oil... spare parts.... constant cleaning.... but gosh darn it!! I grew up with this gun

They should be given access to special veteran set of armor decals unavailable to everyone else. Nothing more, nothing less.

An incredible game that finally lives up to the promise of Planetside and what it could be.

Perhaps the terms of service hash marks you find on the fore-arms of a modern day Marine's dress uniform.

That would be pretty cool. Make it a badge that describes the old PlanetSide as some distinguished campaign; maybe it should say veteran of [one of the removed continents] campaign on an armbadge, with a little stitched picture of the planet and the original logo.

I personally think different models for the weapons or vehicles would be too much work but maybe some retired decals from PlanetSide could be left for veterans to use?

Id quite like to see some sort of armour or anything like that id be quite happy with anything a diffrent skin for my gun or say a badge I am not fussy
