Just wondering who out there uses this. Is it worth the 4 cert points for heavy assault?
How good is it against infantry/vehicles?

MiniGun is the best Heavy Assault weapon out there. Seeing as it uses STANDARD SHELLS (which means they take up less space then any of the other heavy assault shells) it can carry a ton of ammo, has a huge clip, and destroys infantry at close/medium range. I was attacking a tower defended by two mini-gun users with my squad of 6 guys and it took us 10 minutes and an ambush with our MAX to take them down. I died several times.

how many shells a clip does a jackhammer have? And how many shells per box does a jackhammer have (same thing?)? And how much space does each box of ammo take up? (_ x _ space)

No idea about the first Q veno, but I'm pretty sure that the jack uses standard shotty shells (which the scatterpistol and sweeper also use) - which are 3x3 and carry 40 rounds in a box. I think you can get shells in AP too, and they do quite a bit of damage vs. MAXs (18 shells to kill, someone said).

The shotgun shells are 30 to a box rather than 40, and I'm fairly certain that the Lasher uses standard VS energy rounds too.

I have not personally used the jackhammer (although I am considering dropping my special assault cert and getting it since i have 1 unspent point right now) but I have seen the carnage it can lay down. During a base assault I saw one of my squadmates named 5 times all at once as he opened up his jackhammer.

The Jackhammer uses normal shotgun shells, the Lasher uses normal energy cells, and the Mini-Chaingun uses normal 9mm rounds.

Mini-Chaingun holds a 100 round clip, I believe the Lasher holds a 40 round clip, and, again, I believe, the Jackhammer holds a 16 round clip(double that of the Sweeper Shotgun).

What is sweet about the Jackhammer is the fact that you can go from primary, single shot mode, straight to triple shot with no lag in between. This usually kills anything that stands in the way.

All in all, the Mini-Chaingun isn't all that special. It's just a stronger, faster Cycler. (I realize that the Jackhammer is just a stronger, better version of the Sweeper Shotgun, but it does have the triple shot ability which makes it stand out. )

Edit:
Oops, I think it's a 20 round clip for the Lasher... maybe 30............

It's still a toaster, just a lot, um, stronger. Burned my hands getting the toast a few times.
