Was anyone on Jaeger last night? (1/24/2013)

Holy crap, did anyone else fight near the crown last night on Jeager? I swear there had to be like 200+ Vanu guys run over the top of the hill at the same time towards the crown. It was like 3 or 4 ranks of men deep and probably stretched like 300 meters across. It was like immediate adrenaline, I just wish I took a screenshot.

Don't play Jaeger. Sounds epic. These are the types of moments that make us come back despite minutes, hours, days, or even weeks of uninspired gameplay. Certain moments stand out.

I was at the Crown on and off last night, trying out my brand new shiny Rams .50.

Rest of the time I was trying to take the north back. Really starting to think there should be a timer to prevent re-taking a base right away. That way it will force people to stop the push instead of just stealing the base behind the attackers.

Wish I would have been there to see the VS blob.

No I missed that but yeah the VS on Jaeger had some momentum last night....I don't normally see them out in such force, good stuff!

These are the little moments that make games like PS1 & 2 stand out from all the rest.

Jaeger is incredibly well balanced between the 3 empires. Nobody has a clear advantage; nearly every day one empire will have a slight %, and it's usually very close to 33/33/34 during prime time.

The other good thing is that it's a healthy population without any big names. I noticed that almost all horror stories involving hackers/cheats take place on Matherson, Waterson, and Connery. It's big enough to be competitive, but not so big that cheaters are best served to go there (much more attention and opportunity to grief on the bigger servers).

Worldwide, the population is balanced. Continent wide, it generally isn't. A particular continent can see one faction in the 70-90% population range. If by chance another faction comes to that continent and starts pushing back, you see the population ratios swap (instead of going head to head).

I know I'm a hypocrite to say this since I don't belong to an outfit, but the Outfits don't look for good battles. They just look for good base capping.

Then the rest of the population plays at The Crown.

I find when I play population is usually fairly close between at least 2 Empires on any given continent. Granted, there are moments when its lopsided, but that's somewhat expected. I see that a lot of the time people go for Indar, and pop is very close. It really comes down to the hours you play. And yeah, ratios can swap pretty quick. Also, totally agree with the crown, its unfortunate people just want to go there and leave the rest of our territory to be decimated.

I've seen maybe 20-30 long tank column all lining up to go up in crown and kick-ass, but in reality they just die one by one.

It's a fortress made out of XP, so most amazing moments happen there.
