I'd vote piloting cuz it pwns mainly anything. I find my kill to death ratio is much higher when piloting. Second would have been I guess special, cuz its so versatile and third would have been heavy cuz of chaingun and hammer.

For ground deff. the MAX they make great barriers and are very strong.

Special assualt has my vote

A squad of friends and I travel around with it and use quite organized tower-taking tactics involving it.
Me and the 3 other thumpers in the squad
launch bouncing frag nades up and down the stairs, making for lots of kills, and an enemy force that can't advance. Galaxy drops a stealthed hacker onto the tower, we get the tower, all with sniper cover from our snipers. The two MAXes, properly timed, spawn in our newly taken tower, and end up trapping the enemy. Complicated, but sure fire We worked on this for quite a bit.

I voted Heavy Assault just because that's what I enjoy the most.. AV is a close 2nd though because it's very handy to have an AV weapon to defend yourself against vehicles and MAXs. The jackhammer is just so fun though. Especially inside enemy AMS bubbles
