Somehow, I turned off the notify me when this completes downloading option- so I'll DL something, then when it's done, it just goes away, this goes for patches too. It's mostly just a pain in the ass.

How do I re enable it?

I assume you're talking about the little download window in internet explorer...


Go start a big download (so you have time to look around) and uncheck the box at the bottom of the download window that says "Close this automatically" or whatever.
