My hard drive got fried, forcing me to get a new one, and I lost all my data. Thank you for the sympathy.
(The even sadder part is I couldn't connect to the internet for 5 days and struggled to figure out what the problem was, only to find out that I hadn't connected my cable modem to the computer.)

heh, been there mejwell. Didn't take me 5 days, but I felt like crap when I figured it out.
