Well you might run into a bit of trouble if you have a 56k connection. Just to give you an example of what I mean, I was part of a drop group on board this Galaxy that this guy was flying. His connection was so bad that we would occasionally stop in the air, not moving at all, just because he was lagging. Which mind you made us all sitting ducks. We could all see what was happening and we could of jumped out if we wanted to at any time. It was only he who was suffering the lag and having his view of the world freeze on him.
To make a long story short lol the faster the connection, the better

Just to echo that, 56k connections really are stretched beyond their capability...it's all I have and if there's a mass 100+ people in a battle type fight going on I can stand at an equipment terminal jamming "G" for 60 seconds, then when it eventually comes up it's too late as I got shot anyway...

...in light of that, I've become a sniper and prefer crouching near a facility turret or on a hill and just picking off the enemy, not always with great results, but it's managable, the less lag the better

It's not to bad really on 56k as long as you stay away from the really big battles and conients that are not far off locking.

I have untill recently been playing on 56k and have managed to rank up to..
