Will you have to pay another subscription fee for every server you play on? I realize that you have to stick with the faction you pick right of the start in individual servers, but I might want to try the other factions out on other servers. You were allowed to play on multiple servers on every other MMOG I've ever played.

No I don't think so. This is how I understand it.
You get X number of charecters to play on any server with. You can't have more than one charecter of a different faction on one server, while you can have more than one charecter of the same faction on the same server (Obviosly not at the same time). So if you decide to allocate one charecter per server you could play on as many servers as charecters you had. One thing I wondered is if the server farm hits it's player max - say 3,300 players, then what happens? Do you queue up and wait, or do you just have to play on another server? It could happen, especially as this game hits the mainstream.

I cannot think of any reason why you would have to pay extra to play on different servers.
If SoE has their business head about them, then the monthly fee would cover support/DB/labor costs as well as all the bandwidth you could use if you played 24 hours per day. With this pricing structure, they would never, ever lose money on a customer, even if he or she played nonstop for an entire month. Since you can only play on one server per account at a time, they would have nothing to worry about.
